You own eight funds. They own the same twelve companies. FolioView reads through
every fund in your portfolio to the securities underneath, once a month, and shows you the
result with its sources and dates.
What the report measures
Look-through exposure. Every fund opened up to the securities it holds, added across
your whole portfolio, so one company appearing in six funds is counted once.
What moved, and why. Each month-to-month change split into four parts that add back
to the whole: what you bought or sold, what other investors did, what the fund manager
traded, and what the price did.
Your own return. A money-weighted return from the transactions your statement lists,
beside the same cashflows put into an index fund over the same dates.
Concentration. Your largest holdings, issuer groups, and how much of the portfolio
sits in one company, one issuer or one sector.
What a fund's category requires. Each equity fund against the floor its SEBI category
sets, stated as a measurement and a date, never as a pass or a fail.
What is missing. Every holding that could not be read, and why, counted in the same
report rather than left out of it.
83.8% in rank 1–100 companies · the floor for this category is 80% · SEBI, 6 Oct 2017
HDFC Bank 6.2% of the portfolio · held through 5 of your 8 funds · as at 31 Aug 2026
What it does not do
FolioView measures. It does not tell you what to do with what you own, it does not rank or
score funds, and it reaches no verdict on anything in your portfolio. Those judgements are yours,
and a report that made them for you would be worth less, not more.
No language model writes any part of the report. The same portfolio and the same sources
produce the same numbers every time.
Where the numbers come from
Monthly portfolio disclosures published by the fund houses themselves, NAV and scheme data from
AMFI, and your own consolidated account statement from CAMS or KFintech. Every figure in the
report carries the source it came from and the date it was true.
Where a fund house does not allow automated downloads, FolioView does not work around it. That
fund's file is loaded by hand or the report says the month is not covered yet, and names it.
Your statement
It is encrypted before it is stored, and it is read to produce your report and nothing else.
It is never sold, never shared, and a single button deletes all of it.
